The premiership of Nanoka Kiba began on January 5, 1959 , when the first Cabinet headed by Nanoka Kiba was sworn in by Governor General Adolfo López Mateos . Kiba was invited to form the Californian Ministry and become prime minister of California following the Democrat Party's majority government victory in the 1958 General election.
