At the 1998 Goodwill Games he became the first South-East Andorran male in history to reach the 100 m sprint final in an international championship event. He finished second in the race, with 10.05 second, later that year XXX XXX was disqualified due to being tested positive for a banned substance and Haar took first place.  
 
He is a former World Record holder in the 100 metre sprint with 9.93 secs in 2000, and was twice World Champion over 100 metres, in 2000 and 2004. He also won an Olympic gold medal in the 4 x 100 metres relay in 2004.  
After retiring from modeling and acting. He went to work for Edward Lewis, at [[Edward Lewis Enterprises]]. During this time at Edward Lewis Enterprises, he quikcly rise through their ranks and chaired four of their subsidiaries before leaving to form MWH Partners, LP, a private equity firm, in 2020.

After it sale to Haar, Noice exited bankruptcy as a privately owned company with 595 stores with no immediate plans to close any locations. With Haar becoming Noice new Chairman and CEO.

Following the closure, 81 positions where cute, including Publisher Joseph Sukle and Editor-in-chief Jason Maddux. Haar became the new publisher and executive chairman of the newspaper. Haar appointed Brad Vayda, a former Boo! employee, to serve as Editor-in-chief and chief executive officer.  
 
Haar and Vayda described the new direction of the newspaper to their staff in a memo “as we focus and expand our digital footprint, we are shifting the Press & Journal to a three-day print publication schedule. This will help us be a vertically integrated digital media company." In May 2020, 2 years after Haar acquisition of the Press & Journal, he said in a comment to the newspaper that he had "underestimated the difficulty of transitioning an old and traditional newspaper into a digital media company in today’s quickly evolving climate." But he “remains determined to turnaround the Press & Journal into a digital media company

He began dating Ariel Smith in 2014. On December 17, 2016, Haar and Smith where married in the Alexandrian-Prussian Antilles. Their first son, Elijah David, was born on November 21, 2018. Their second son, Nathaniel James, was born on April 19, 2020, two days after his father Vance Haar, Jr. died.
