The Arkiasis Elite League (AEL; Vesperian: Arkland Elitserien) is a professional ice hockey league in Arkiasis. A total of 24 teams play in the Nordserien and National League with 12 teams each. It was formed as a merger of the Vesperian Hockeyligan and the Arkiasian National League in 1994.
History
The league was formed as a merger of the old Vesperian Hockeyligan and the Arkiasian National League in 1994 as an effort to consolidate ice hockey in Arkiasis into a single organization.

Rules
Hockey Rink
Arkiasis Elite League games are played on a rectangular hockey rink with rounded corners surrounded by walls and Plexiglas. It measures 60 metres by 28 metres.
