The Hani-Minhaq Military Airport is located in El Bahdja, a suburb of Hani. Located 19.4 kilometers east of Hani, it was built in 2000 after the conversion of the Hani-Massous Airport from military to civilian. The name Minhaq comes from the geographical location of the airfield, located in a valley between two ranges of hills.
