Mirramais was a Bretian explorer best known for his in-depth documentation of Vyvland and its ancient cultures and tribes during the seventh century, before Vyvlanders kept any documentation of their own. Mirramais's work has proven invaluable over the centuries for forming a complete picture of the habitation, distribution and spread of the ancient Germanic settlers of the country, in addition to their way of life. In other cases, Mirramais's journals have proven important for work on the ancient ecosystems and climate patterns of Vyvland. Linguistically, Mirramais's journals have aided the study of the Old Caylander language, the ancestor of modern Bretian, and also provided some evidence for Old Vyvlander in its early formative stages, further developed upon by Arvid Kulmo in the twentieth century.
