The Tarhaaja War, also known as the Second Tarhaaja War, the East Europan-Tarhaaja War, and the Second Resistance War (Finnish: Toinen Vastarinta Sodan, Aasialain: Toiutiy Västarinto Fadan, Burmese: ဒုတိယ ခုခံျခင္း စစ္ျဖစ္ခ်ိန္။), was a conflict fought between the Autocratic East Europan Imperial Alliance and its colonial empire and the Independent Grand Duchy of Bethausia. The conflict lasted from 18 June 1903 to 23 August 1906, with the war ending in the complete sovereignty of Bethausia transferring to the Empire, reducing Bethausia once more into a colony.
Background
The Tarhaajas were Suomi settlers that were colonists who were either sent by the Finlandian Empire or have escaped a persecution of their kind by the East Europans. Arriving at Bethausia, they were welcomed at first by the Bamar people, an ethnic group that is currently the majority in modern-day Bethausia. However, when more and more Tarhaajas arrived on the land, prompting the Tarhaajas to move further inland, the Bamars resisted their expansion. However, with an agreement with the two peoples being in place later, the Bamars and the Tarhaajas lived in peace. Even then, the Tarhaajas are still on the verge of being under the grasp of the Empire. In the year 1828, word has reached to the Emperor that sources of gold, herbs and oil have been present in the land. Exactly two weeks later, thousands of East Europan soldiers were pouring in and a colony was established.
Opening Clashes (18 June to 25 June 1903)
With the declaration of war set by the East Europan government on June 15, troops began departing their homeland to the former colony. The Bethausian government has gotten word of the news, thanks to a returning delegate that was sent in from the Grand Duchy to settle disputes of more resorts of commodities that were founded by the East Europans.
