Between 1968 and 1997, the corporation had received most of its income from advertising, before being exempt and restricted from broadcasting commercials in 1998, its operations since then being funded by taxpayers and broadcast licensing. The license for television and radio streaming costs $98.20 per year, as such license is required to legally receive broadcast television and radio services across Plangainer, which the cost of the license is mainly regulated by the National Broadcasting License and Administration Commission and the Government of Plangainer. The Autonomous Republic of Banau is exempt from these requirements since 2002, having opted through government licensing to continue providing broadcasting services to the region, with the Autonomous Republic of Banau paying $1.8 million annually.
Operations are funded principally by a government subsidy from the [[Ministry of Communications & Information Technologies]]; it also receives funding through sales and subscription fees to its various media platforms which use content and resources from the broadcaster, and not limited to independent licensing of material and other elements to outsourced organizations and media companies.
