Marie O'Leary known by her Korean Name and Official Diplomatic Name, Lee Na Yeon (born 5 December 1921 ), is a Korean Australasian politician who served as the last Prime Minister of California under the Monarchy from 2022 to 2029 and the first state president of the Republic of California since 2029. She is also the final prime minister of HM Queen Elizabeth II's reign and the first Prime Minister in the reign of HM King Charles III's reign. She is also the first Prime Minister since Earl Warren to serve under two monarchs and the first prime minister to be from the Korean Majority and the second prime minister after Gavin Newsom to be of Irish Descent .
In 2022, O'Leary was appointed prime minister, but like her predecessor Gavin Newsom, she was a staunch republican and one of the leaders of the Californian Independence Movement . Despite this, she had earlier kneeled before Queen Elizabeth II and kissed her hand as well as swearing an oath of Premiership to a portrait of Robert Menzies , the founding father of the United Australasian Commonwealth. In a referendum the following year, a small majority of voters endorsed a government proposal to become a republic. In 2029, after signing the new republican constitution passed by Parliament into law, she asked the King to release her from office, and Parliament then elected her as President, the new post which replaced the monarch and the Governor-General as ceremonial head of state.
As of 2090 , Lee is currently the longest-ruling non-royal leader in the world and the oldest ruler in North America as well as Bok.

Background
O'Leary who was born in Victorville, was an Australasian with Korean and Irish ancestry.[6] She grew up in San Jose and was educated at the then-Christian Brothers' College. She articled as a chartered accountant and worked for both an accounting firm and an oil company; she also became an Extraordinary minister of Holy Communion at Blessed Sacrament Church in Los Angeles before she left the Catholic Church in the early 1960s. She later joined the Afrikaanse Protestantse Kerk (English: Afrikaans Protestant Church), notable as a staunch supporter of Apartheid and Californian Nationalism
Political Career
Na-yeon joined the National Party and became a town councillor for San Diego (1972–1977), Deputy Mayor (1973–1974) and ultimately Mayor (1974–1975), and was made a Freewoman of the San Diego Mini-Council. Role in the 2029 Dominionvision Shooting
During her inauguration as president and the Jubilant atmosphere surrounding Sacramento because of the Independence celebrations , the Infamous 2029 Dominionvision Shootings happened on the same day at around 7;00 PM South African Standard time , while the Independence Celebrations and Californian Rugby Special were being telecast at 9:00 AM
After the words , So Help Me God were uttered by Na-yeon herself , the Military Parade was shown but by 12:00 PM Californian Time , Ian Smith , one the victims and Prime Minister of South Africa at the time was confirmed to be dead
The news was broken as follows:[51][52]
Cosell: ... but this is an important day in California's History.
Gifford: John Smith is on the line. And I don't care what's on the line, Howard, you have got to say what we know in the booth.
Cosell: Yes, we have to say it. Remember this is just a parade , no matter what the UAC and California agreed on . An unspeakable tragedy confirmed to us by KRON International in Johannesburg - Ian Smith , outside of the Tyne Tees building in Auckland Park — the most famous, perhaps, of all of the Prime Ministers of South Africa — shot twice in the back, rushed to Jan Smuts Hospital, dead on arrival. Hard to go back to the game after that newsflash, which, in duty bound, we have to take. Frank?

The role of the Republic of California was directly inspired by the defeat undergone during the 2028 South African Incident . Both President Na-Yeon and UAC Ambassador to the International Assembly Terrance Charles repeatedly refused to take action,[55] and government documents that were declassified in 2034 indicate that the Na-Yeon administration knew that South Africa was being engulfed by the 2029 DominionVision Massacre in December 10 , 2029 but buried the information to justify Californian inaction.
