The World Assembly (WA) is an international intergovernmental organisation which claims to be the 'world's governing body'. It is divided into two councils. The General Assembly drafts and implements international law, while the Security Council concerns itself with the maintenace of international security and conflict resolution. Membership is voluntary and compliance with General Assembly resolutions is only required for those passed during a country's membership. The organisation conducts its business through a myriad number of regional offices located around the world.
