Estambal formally Democratic Republic of Estambal (Portuguese: República Democrática de Estambal) [IPA: /ʁɛˈpuβlikɐ dɨmocrat͡ʃikɐ dẽʃtanbaɫ/] is a country located in South Europe and forming part of the Iberian Peninsula. Since Pre-historic times, the country has always been constantly invaded by Visigoths, Roman, Ancient Greeks and Arabs.

Most of Estambal features a mediterranean climate, hot-summer subtype, with mild humid winters and hot dry summers. Mean temperatures in winter range 6–8 °C (43–46 °F) and summer mean temperatures range 21–25 °C (70–77 °F). However, climate can get as cold as 0 °C (32 °F) during winter and as hot as 40 °C (104 °F) during summer sporadically.
