The ICA Ground Force is made up of two army regions and a total of five corps.
The ICA Ground Force is organized into five corps grouped into two army regions. The standard ICA division is called Mrawafdan, meaning "ten thousand", the same name and unit size used by the medieval Charnean empire to move large numbers of troops across its territory. Each Mrafdan is nominally made up of three Kradafdan ("three thousand") equivalent to a brigade level unit as well as an Ifd or regimental scale fire support unit. Variations are made to this basic template, such as the so-called Ninvite Mrawafdan, which has only two brigade level Kradafdan and typically swaps the usual heavy artillery Ifd for light infantry or special forces. Kradafdan reflect a similar structure to the standard Mrawafdan, and posses their own integrated artillery detachments and armored units. 4 of the 5 Corps have dedicated special forces divisions and units. In Charnean nomenclature, "special forces" refers to reconnaissance, counterinsurgency and guerilla specialist light infantry detached from more conventional fighting forces in a similar vein to the defunct ACSR Ranger Corps. Within the ICA, their use is primarily counter-insurgency and semi-covert military operations against enemy groups within and without the country, which is considered a high priority task and requires large numbers of these well equipped and well trained light infantry units to be deployed across large areas of the country.

The Ninvite Monarchy refers to the government system of semi-hereditary rule over the State of the Ninva, as well as the preceding Awakari and Charnean Empires. The office of the Ninvite monarch is titled Tamenokalt and is always occupied by a woman except in cases of military rule through periods of crisis, in which case the male equivalent Amenokal holds supreme power. Although the office has undergone many changes through its history, the Ninvite Monarchy has retained several unorthodox characteristics that set it apart from many of its counterparts around the world. The Tamenokalt is a primus inter pares of the tamgharten clan mothers of the Agraw Imgharan or later, the Inushamen chamber of the modern Agraw, and is elected by the body of her peers to hold executive power and administer the state. This is a modified version of the ancient Tenerian tribal confederations system of government implimented by Ihemod the Inheritor upon the foundation of the Charnean Empire, effectively establishing what would become the surviving Ninvite monarchy.
