Charles (Henry Andrew) Wright OBE (joined 11 February 2022) is a retired politician who served as the 17th Prime Minister of the Empire of Great Britain. He previously served in the House of Lords, the House of Commons and in multiple Cabinets. He also served as Director-General of the British Broadcasting Corporation and as Colonel of the Regiment of the Household Division. Charles was the 22nd and 28th Speaker of the House of Commons, Senior Deputy Speaker in the 17th Session of Parliament, and a Member of Parliament for Cambridge and later on for Aberavon.
