The Prime Minister is in part, resposible to the Imperial Senate, having to attend sessions of the Curia or Senate along with the cabinet, to, with the cabinet answer questions posed by members of the Imperial Senate, and to appoint legislative staff to represent the Executive in the Imperial Senate such as the General Secretary of the Goverment who represents the Imperial Cabinet along with other Executive-Legislative Staff and some Cabinet Members in the house were the Prime Minister and the Cabinet are not sitting. The Prime Minister can also advise for the dissolution of the Imperial Senate to the Imperial President when lacking majority or support or to garner more support. The Prime Minister also has the responsibility to ensure the passage of legislation which reflects on his/her commanding of a majority in the Imperial Senate. In the Imperial Senate, the Prime Minister and the Legislative Leaders of the Imperial Senate act as the Party Delegates, influencing the vote, as such the Prime Minister must be able to command a majority to ensure the passage of bills, support for this government, and legislative confidence in the government, hence a Prime Minister loosing a majority usually resigns.
