==Economy==
Oseditasuna's economy is exercised under a mixed economy model, in which both private and state-runned enterprise take part. The East Bloc collapse in 1989-1990 and the full dissolution of the Soviet Union made Oseditasuna's government to take important decisions on how to continue from then due to the lack of support of the forementioned collapsed state. During the period from 1958-1989, Oseditasuna was directed under a state-planned economy, in which the State was the only owner of the means of production and distributed by itself alone. Food and other goods rationing was very common, especially during the first years of the post-war period.
Nowadays, most of the economy depends on agriculture and fishing. It is estimated that 65% of the population works in plantations and fishing. Most of the soil is planted with potatoes, beans, vetches, tomatoes, onions and nuts. The fair climate also gives the opportunity to plant fruits.
