Todd Robert Hunter (born March 3, 1980) is an Ibican politician and the President of Ibica. Having defeated Ronny Tanner in the 2020 Ibican presidential election, he was inaugurated as the 47th president on January 20, 2021. A member of the Conservative Party, Hunter previously served as the Representative for West Monroe's 15th congressional district. Raised in Henderson, West Monroe, Hunter studied at West Monroe State University in Willmington before earning his law degree from Willmington University.
Early life and education
Hunter attended Henderson Central High School in Henderson, West Monroe, where he was born and raised. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in political science from West Monroe State University, and his Juris Doctor from the Willmington University School of Law. Hunter is Catholic.
Earlier career
In 2004, Hunter spent one year working as an aide to Representative Richard Siddall. Prior to being elected to Congress, Hunter spent a decade working for Smith, Hardy, and Associates as an attorney.
