Skimtari

The Skimtari (nickname being Skimtari, actual name being electarian proprius) are characterized as humanoid bipedal life forms pre-downfall, post-downfall skimtari are characterized as humanoid necronic (necronic being defined as a necroid species) bipedal organism. Both pre and post-downfall skimtari have similar characteristic and entierly seperate characteristics, examples of similar characteristics being able to quickly adapt to zero gravity environments and having extremely powerful legs. They are also documented to being extremely curious creatures almost never remaining isolated to other foreign organisms. Spite their curiosity they continue to maintain a fierce independence to any type of foreign influence, and if any foreign influence is to seep into skimtari culture they are very quick to stamp it out collectively.

Both types of skimtari evolved approximately 230 trillion years ago, never achieving a proper societies until proper tools and farming was discovered. The skimtari where evolved on what can be defined as a "tomb world," the world still provided vegetation and underground materials, but the world was covered in a thin layer of ash. This caused the skimtari to develop a very little dependency on lungs but an extremely strong depends on scavenging.

The pre-downfall skimtari always retained a herbivore diet, they had a slow metabolism but an iron stomach, meaning during the days of pre-farming the skimtari would eat everything that they could find. But once farming was developed the skimtari "iron stomach" started to devolve, they could only eat specifically what they ate after 20 million years. This means during the hostile seasons the skimtari did not get their energy from eating, but rather sleeping. Skimtari are extremely heavy sleepers often sleeping for 17 hours at a time, with men sleeping less during the hostile seasons and women sleeping more during the hostile years.

Etymology

The name Skimtari itself has not meaning in electarian or ministry standard, but in pre-downfall folkstale the word "skimtari" was used to describe the contingency of life, this is due to the skimtaris belief that they are not the first skimtaris of this universe (the current skimtari being believed to be the 9th version). However their actual name "electarians" is always described as "Highest beings of curiosity," prior to the skimtari calling themselvs that electarians where used to describe any skimtari who did something incredibly stupid out of curiosity.

Living situations

pre-downfall

The pre-downfall skimtari generally tended to live in higher elevation locations, tending to live away from water scores due to oceans and lakes being poisoned with the constant ashfall. Also as a consequence of this pre-downfall skimtari tended to live with a family (or clan if 3 or more family's merge) to conserve the amount of distance between them and underground water sources, Also lowering the amount of manpower required to extract the water. Once governments started to pop up skimtari began to live in very condensed population centers, but they still keep very close ties to their family's.

Post-downfall

Post-downfall skimtari live in very dense underground locations, tending to keep separate housing from family and friends, but they continue to keep their family ties and their culture. This is because of the foreign oppression forced the post-downfall skimtari to forge even closer bonds with each other but keep wary of other skimtari due to traitors in the population

Pre-downfall anatomy

Pre-downfall skimtari mostly homologous to other humanoids with the only difference being their legs, after that their organs, limbs, and hands remained almost entirely the same. However there was always minor changes in their organs, that being skimtari did not require as much oxygen compared to a normal humanoid, they also ran a lot faster than normal humanoids. This caused them to develop vehicles much slower than most due to lack of need for them.

Post-downfall anatomy

Post-downfall skimtari are incredibly different to humanoids, thus why they are called "necroids" and not "humanoids." Post-downfall skimtari have deovolved so much that their organs, including but not limited to; lungs, skin, gut, stomach, heart, liver, ect. However this means that the remaining organs, especially the brain where given extra functions. One very important addition to the skimtari brain is the Centralis industria cursu, This part of the brain amplifies any energy thats given to the body, or is created by the body. This is in slight reaction to the lack of an intestinal system and increased reliance on sleeping for energy.
