THE FEDERATION OF PONGI: OFFICIAL CONSTITUTION HISTORY

The drafting of the constitution of the Federation of Pongi was complicated and open. It was a grand endeavour consisted of local tribes, new founders and representatives and assembly members. The public gave feedback through consultations, making sure that it was fair and open. Lots of people gave feedback and wanted a democratic, open government void of corruption. The representatives considered a cultural, non discriminatory constitution, along with stability after the shocking collapse of the Iobaray empire. By placing together many opinions from across the country, the constitution would focus on stability, civil rights, democracy and respect of cultures. The constitution has been changed many times, most notably in 1958 after Meanace's coup attempt.
