The three year civil war was ultimately decided with the last, failed offensive by the Comistat Unity forces near the Gurri river. Within weeks, the sieged Unity forces in Marbella fell, ending the Second Danthian Civil War. A interim dictatorship was set up, harsh reprisals were implemented against the enemies of the Federation, with up to a half million lives lost during the war, the most devastating in Danthian history.
