The Blackhelm Confederate Backlands Conflict is an ongoing conflict in the Blackhelm Confederacy that has gone on since the fall of the Empire of Exponent in 1996. The primary participants in the conflict at the Communist Workers' Party and the Blackhelm Confederacy, however dozens of smaller armed groups have taken part in the hostilities, and the fighting has frequently been known to spill over the borders into Bungussi, Jafala, and Kwalawi.
