Etymology

The name "Nostalta" is a combination between the Isabellan term, "Alta", meaning high, and Nost, a undetermined term of origin describing the combining forms of the natives in the region of Ashintoka and the Isabellan colonists. Futhermore Nost is considered the original term before the terms Nastnovian or Nastan was considered of the peoples. As a whole the name translates to "High Nost", meaning the highest peak of the Nastan people would be found in their capital. The name was selected by the Lord-Sovereign of the Sovereignty of Nastanovo, Santos De Santa Ana, following the First Coalition Wars between Nastanovo and the Coalition of Kingdoms against Nastanovo which included Percivia which Nostalta was the original capital of.
