The Aprosian People's Front (Severiók: 沃地人 民니 盟, Abrózinej Nádtaraní Májdan) is a far left socialist party in Aprosia and the only legally allowed political party in the nation. The Aprosian People's Front has maintained the position continuously since 1942 after forcing the Party of Socialists and the Communist Party of Aprosia to merge into the Front. Before this, the Front was the largest leftist party in Aprosia and the primary nationalist party alongside the conservative National Union.
The current General Secretary of the Aprosian People's Front is Alešándr Nijáran, who is also the current President of the Union.
Ideology
The Front officially follows Aprosian socialism as originally developed by Míra Dejažév and Dimíras Ketséluv, with both the official ideology and the Front itself being a result of Aprosianism, a cultural movement in the early to mid-19th century Aprosia. Under its official definition, Aprosian socialism "seeks to establish a new dawn of Aprosian culture, enlightenment, values and society."
Nationalism
The Aprosian People's Front maintains a strongly nationalist social and economic policy, focused at internal development and conservation of Aprosian culture.
