The Majlis ash-Shura, known in Uzbek as the Maslahat Yig'ilishi ("Consultative Assembly"), is the national legislature of Gurkaniyan. Elected every seven years, it is tasked with adopting legislation based on Sharia law, and with providing confidence and supply to the Khalifa/Chancellor and their cabinet.
