Charleston Engines was founded by David Charleston in 1932 and was tasked with producing low cost but powerful tractor engines. The company is now the leading diesel engine company followed by Cummins. The company has engines used in Large machinery / construction, Forestry equipment, Trains, semi trucks and pick up trucks, buses, tractors, generators.
