The Shazbotdom Marine Air Corps is comprised of any and all Aircraft of the Empire. From the Transportation Aircraft to the Unmanned Aircraft, the Marine Air Corps are the ones who fly it all. The development of the Marine Air Corps occurred just recently due to the need for a separate entity from the Corps with their own Command Structure due to overloading of the regular Marine Corps Command Chain.

The History
- Shortly after the development of the Marine Air Corps, uniforms were of the top priority for the identity of the pilots, as they would now need their own unique equipment for future operations. After brainstorming at the Air Corps Command Center, the new Uniform as well as flight suit were designed by a think tank of Independent Advisers. With the creation of the new uniforms and flight suit, a reorganization of the current Air Corps became necessary.
Reorganization -- 2014
- The reorganization of the Marine Air Corps was just one step further in the advancement of the Military within the Shazbotdom Empire. With previously there being only two Divisions (Transportation and Bombing) within the Air Corps while it was a subsidiary of the main Marine Corps; a need for attack squadrons became a necessity. Flight Groups were reorganized into Fighter, Transportation, Combat Support and Bomber. One Aircraft, the AH-33 Falcon, can be utilized in a Transportation role as well as a Combat Support role due to its design. Another aircraft, the UA-66 Longfellow, can be utilized in a Fighter role as well as a Bombing role due to its flexibility as being designed with guns as well as missile and rocket launchers as well as a bomb bay that holds 4 medium sized bombs for bombing troop emplacements as well as vehicles.
Second Reorganization and Retirement of Aircraft -- 2020
- With an even larger need for advancement of the Marine Air Corps, it was deemed necessary by the Parliamentary Committee on Military Technology to retire the current aircraft of the Air Corps. It was decided that, without the need for a bidding process, the contract for new Military Aircraft would go to the Pharthan Corporation of Halcyon Arms. The decision was made with the express intent of the Committee based on the quality of service given to the Empire through the purchasing of ships for the Imperial Navy as well as the weaponry and land vehicles for the Marine Corps.

- The F/A-33 Wolf is Halcyon Arms newest line of 5th Generation Fighters. It started as a drawing-board variant of the F/A-52 Shrike and figuratively took off from there, so many changes being made that much of the original was scraped and the desired changes added onto a new design. The Wolf is fully capable of many of the supermaneuverability tests through the use of it's Floating Cockpit technology, Thrust Vectoring, and 3D vectoring control-surfaces. The Wolf is capable of making extremely sharp course corrections, far moreso than other fighters than it's generation, without it's pilot blacking out in the process.

-60 Line
F/A-60 Rogue
- The first iteration of the venerable -60 line, the F/A-60A Rogue is a fifth-generation single-seat, twin-engine, all-weather semi-stealth tactical multirole fighter designed and built by Halcyon Arms and Asimov Engineering. Primarily meant to be an air superiority fighter, the Rogue is also a capable ground strike fighter and reconnaissance/signals intelligence and electronic warfare aircraft. The goal of the F/A-60A is not to be a stealth fighter, but it does maintain some stealth characteristics to help in evasion.
- In initial design, the aim for the F/A-60A was to develop a hyper-maneuverable fighter with some stealth characteristics that would cost less than the modern stealth aircraft, and still be able to take out such stealth aircraft, and, were it to meet them in a dogfight, be able to outclass them in speed and maneuverability. In order to attain this maneuverability, the entire -60 line is equipped with 3D Vectored Thrust Nacelles.
- The -60 line features a low-to-moderate aspect ratio, swept, semi-cranked arrow main wing, with similar tail horizontal stabilizers and back-swept tapered canards in a three-surface configuration. It also features a slight chine above and forward of the air intakes, of which there are one on each side. There are also canted vertical stabilizers to help reduce radar signature and improve maneuverability; these stabilizers, as well as the horizontal stabilizers, also assist in running air through the exhaust to break up the heat signature.
- Flight control surfaces include leading and trailing-edge flaps, ailerons, rudders on the canted vertical stabilizers, and all-moving horizontal tails:
- The Rogue sports traditional fighter tricycle landing gear. As a standard, all -60 line aircraft also feature a tail-hook and reinforced airframe to allow for carrier flight operations.
- To assist with carrierborne operations, the entire -60 line can also operate "hands-free," allowing it's avionics, to include fly-by-wire, to operate both launches and landings. These systems also help with normal flight, converting pilot control into actual plane operation, making minor adjustments where needed to allow the pilot to focus on what he or she wants the aircraft to do. This allows the aircraft to be highly departure resistant and to respond well even with an aggressive pilot; the aircraft often is required to impose a limit upon it's own operations to prevent putting too many -g forces on a pilot, which could cause a blackout. An integrated cockpit and flight suit is also able to detect the black-out, and should course correction or evasion be needed, the -60 line is programmed with basic functions and maneuvers for survival.

- The smallest of the F/A-60 line and with the smallest internal payload, the F/A-60C Viper is meant more as an Air Superiority Fighter than a multirole fighter. With a light payload and a single engine, the F/A-60C fighter is by far one of the most maneuverable fighters ever designed by Halcyon Arms, able to pull maneuvers so tight that fighter must be limited by computer to each individual pilot's capabilities.

F/A-60F Outlaw
- With the rise of Halcyon Arm's desire to help fund smaller Navies, smaller ships came about. Seeing that not all Navies could afford massive carriers, Halcyon Arms still desired to give the right to a full fledged multirole fighter to those less financially backed, as well as to give Pharthan's own patrol helicopter carriers some more punch. The acclaimed F/A-60A was chosen as the baseline model for it's two engines - leading to more stability when landing, if albeit more weight than conventional VTOL fighters - and the Outlaw as born.
- In order to make it a VTOL, the F/A-60 was modified with a shorter, more cut back lower set of nacelles, allowing the upper nacelles to direct thrust directly downward. The thrust-vectoring nacelles are able to move up, down, and side-to-side at an angle of 15 degrees either way, giving the Outlaw stability when landing only matched by helicopters, also improving survivability and assisting with single-engine landings, which are possible but not recommended. While the two powerful engines are able to provide the necessary stability, an advantage over single-engine VTOLs, the Outlaw is also fitted with a pair of stabilizing cold-exhaust vents stemming from the lift-fan located just behind the cockpit, which primarily forces air down and forward to keep the Outlaw stable when landing.

- The AH-24B Fennechawk is a two-seat coaxial rotor compound attack helicopter constructed by Halcyon Arms. While primarily designed as a stealthy, high speed attack helicopter, the Fennechawk also fills reconnaissance roles. While not intended to, it may also carry air-to-air weaponry, though this is usually for self-defense rather than a primary role, though it can easily take down other helicopters. With it's high speed, the Fennechawk is also quite capable of escorting other helicopters, with the ability to maneuver about the battlefield to engage threats at will.

Emergency Power Aircraft Set
Description:
- In light of tsunamis, hurricanes, and massive earthquakes, disaster relief has seen - among others - one massive problem: electricity. So many of these storms bring down electrical power to the area, often severing power lines with no hope of relief for days. While many shelters may have emergency generators, fuel for these can run out in short time and takes a supply line to assist a city's worth. The NR-53R Ghostbullet coupled with the NR-53S Spiritangel, which houses the steam-plant and electricity-generation side, provide on-demand electrical power to any place with so much as a large open field for landing or a large enough stretch of open road. With their own desalinization plants, they can run for months so long as they have access to water.
- In the event that they cannot be parked next to a lake, river, or other large water-source, both the Spiritangel and Ghostbullet can roll out massive water-bladders to be filled with any available water as a secondary heat-sink for both normal operations and emergency decay-heat removal. To prevent meltdown, the NR-53R can supply sufficient decay-heat removal to itself with nothing more than natural circulation within a period of time short enough to cool down prior to fuel melting. As a backup, two batteries mounted along the lower-sides of the aircraft can be powered by the wing-mounted solar panels to help power the reactor's coolant pumps.
- The NR-53R uses a two-loop Pressurized Water Reactor to produce heat which is carried by the coolant - distilled water - to steam generators. The steam produced is transported to the turbine in the NR-53S, afterwards it is condensed and the water is transported back to repeat the cycle. Setting up the arrangement takes several hours prior to electricity generation and usually requires a support-team to prepare the two, though the watchteam can set everything up themselves. Additional crew will be required to relieve them, as all watchstanders must be allowed sleep and time off.
