Abdullah Hassan is a Mel-akkan politician of Pashtun descent serving as the current President of the Shortugai Exclave since August of 2022. Prior to his election to the presidency, he served as a member of the Judicial Commission. He was formerly affiliated with the Pashtunwali Movement for Justice; in 2016, he switched to the Liberal Democratic Party. He is the only current provincial executive from his party.
