The Austerlitz class was a class of battlecruisers built for the Sieuxerrian Navy. Originally four ships were to be built, however the outbreak of the War of Gothic Succession and later discussions of the impending Selkiö Naval Treaty meant that while all four hulls had been laid down, the first; Austerlitz, would be completed as a battlecruiser. The class was a continuation of a general design that had been started by the Conquérante-class. A major change was the upgunning from 13.4" to new 15" guns. Austerlitz would be the last capital ship completed by Sieuxerr prior to the Selkiö Naval Treaty. Of the other three hulls, the two most completed ones would be converted into the Bearn class carrier, the last hull would sit uncompleted until the mid-1920s when it would be broken up in place.
