Norcustkohle is a Radictistani mining and synthetic fuels company headquartered in Meyerskopf, Norcustsur. Norcustkohle operates thirty coal mines in northern Radictistan producing both metallurgical and thermal coal. Norcustkohle accounts for roughly 30% of Radictistani coal production. The company also operates coal liquefaction plants which produce diesel, gasoline, and other liquid fuels.
Operations
Mines
Most of Norcustkohle's production comes from twenty-seven underground mines in the County of Norcustsur. These mines operate by the longwall and continuous methods. The Norcustsur mines produce primarily bituminous coal. Three open-pit mines in western Yestingsur produce lignite. Total production in 2017 was 141 million tonnes. Norcustkohle owns and operates 126 kilometers of railroad track connecting its mines to the national rail network operated by Royal Radictistan Railways.
