Maeralya Amador is the reigning monarch of the Kingdom of Amador, having served in her position since March 20, 1486. A member of the royal family, Maeralya previously served as crow princess. Maeralya was born in Ifa Serine during the Eternal age, pre-dating written history. As per familial traditions, she joined politics from a young age, often garnering widespread acclaim from her compatriots. She has attended eternal Ifa Serine University, the oldest school for higher education in the nation.
As the 3rd Queen of Amador, she has sat the throne for over five hundred years. Keeping with tradition, Maeralya has kept Amador isolated on the diplomatic stage from the wider world, but most specifically Gholgoth. A peaceful queen, she has fostered relationships between the Kingdom's elvish population, human, and other non-human relations for centuries. She is often hailed as a paragon bringing her populace closer than it has ever been. As Keeper of the Eternal Flame, her status as Queen is absolute and as such, she is considered a living deity. Furthermore, as Keeper of the Eternal Flame and as a member of the immortal family, Maeralya Amador is the only holder of magicks in the nation. Her will is absolute, yet just. Firm, yet kind.
Much of Amador's first two centuries were spent elevating the social classes of the kingdom to equal heights of equality and freedoms. She would take her husband ninety years into her reign, and giving birth to the next crown princess in 1730 A.D. Many of her biggest priorities include: Equality of Races, Economic Reforms, Civil Reforms, and Transportation.
