'''Suácismo''' is a term given to the period when José Fulgencio Suácos governed Costa Madora as the 5th, 7th and 10th President of Costa Madora, and coined by Madorian historian Neizan Acorres. Having been appointed President by the National Assembly in 1843, Suácos pursued, from 1861 onwards, the policy of "order and progress", inviting foreign investment in Costa Madora and maintaining social and political order, by force if necessary. There were significant economic, technological, social, and cultural changes during this period. The 1876–77 development of the Second Madorian Civil War and the interim presidency of Luis Edgar Villegas are seen as the end of Suácismo.
