The AWM-F330 (AWM: Is what the RA calls it) is a FRP designed variant of the AWM that was designed in the United Kingdom of Great Britannia, the original is no longer used by the British Army. The government has produced exactly 4,581,739 AWM-F330's and is continuing producing and issuing AWM's to the Red Army, Police and Spetsnaz.
Development
The production of the AWN-F330 was at the request of the former Spetsnaz Commanding Officer, Aleksandr Cheknokov. after claiming that the most important divison for state safety lacked funding and reformed equipment. Cheknokov's requests were constantly rejected by the government, until a significant damage happened to state security because of the Spetsnaz' lack of equipment. The newly appointed Premier opened to Cheknokov and gave the authorization for newer equipment to be produced.
Designers were looking at intel on ODR firearms through the CFRPSS. They saw that the British made AWM was serving the army amazingly, once they had a clear and good design, production began.
Deployment
The AWM quickly began to be standard issue for Spetsnaz and the Red Army and proved a useful asset for the Red Army, it made its way into the Militsiya's officers in 1983, 11 years after it was deployed. It is to this day still used by the Red Army, the Russian Police Force and is being sold in firearm shops accross the nation.
