The Frontline in the early days of the Kansan Bloodletting, the republic was in a near constant state of war with Federal Loyalists and the Lakota Freedom Front, and effectively collapsed in late 1981, just a little over a year after its proclamation. Formed by much of the pre-collapse Kansan government, the remnants of the government who had not surrendered or defected initially fled to Mississippi, before being kicked out and resettling in Mexico, only to relocate once again to Austin at the outbreak of the Chiapas conflict.
