Isaac II was the Prince of Theodoro from 1455 to 1471, and a claimant to the title of Emperor and Autocrat of the Romans, based on his agreement with Andreas Palaiologos, the previous heir to the Byzantine throne. Isaac II's agreement would be the basis for similar claims by future Theodoran rulers. He was succeeded by his son Alexander I, who did not use his father's imperial title.
