The Singhapala Bisaya Republic, commonly known as the Launat Regime or Northern SBR to distinguish itself was a wartime puppet state of the Empire of Tayichi in northern Singhapala Bisaya. It existed alongside the [Southern Government] under Roman Tanvir Sadayag during the Bisayan Civil War and the Great War. The country functioned as a military dictatorship under Geras Bulinao Launat. Initially, it governed territories captured by Tayichi during the Tayichian Invasion of the SBR, but its control diminished as the civil war progressed. It was disbanded and disarmed on August 17th 1937 by the Tayichian Imperial Army due to fears of greater rebellion.
