Jeanne Mehiläinen-Freeman (born 1973 June 20) is a Valleysian politician, actress, model, and former Matriarch of United Valleys. Aside from her current notoriety as head of state of United Valleys, she is also considered one of the last television-era sex-symbols in the Valleys, achieving considerable fame as jet-pilot Saria Fox on the television series ICEFOX (1996-2001).

Jeanne started her entertainment and modeling career as a flight student in the FSES military's Air Reserve, and was spotted by a television producer visiting Coastal College Air Academy. She was offered the starring role of a new show in production called ICEFOX, which became extremely popular during the late 90s. Jeanne split her time serving in the Air Reserve, acting in television and movies, and making many celebrity appearances, including multiple controversial centerfold spreads. She became involved in animal rights and environmental conservation activism in the 2000s, eventually joining the Downwind Social Democratic Alliance in 2007 when the organization was in its infancy, and co-founded the militant wing of the organization, the New Sunshine Children, in 2011. She went into hiding in 2019 after making several public appearances praising the increasingly popular "Natural Lifestyle" movement, and revealed herself as the leader of the successful revolution against the dictatorial regime of Evgeny von Patton in 2026, seizing the position of Supreme Executive and presiding over the formation of the International Communist Network in October of that year.

Her time as Matriarch saw the Valleys experience massive economic growth, newfound social stability, and an increased presence on the international stage. International analysts consider her style of governance to have been one of subtlety, relying heavily on new democratic systems to legitimize the new regime with herself at the head.

Stroke event

Freeman experienced a stroke on 2027 November 24. Details over the possible cause are slim, and a Snap Purge (which dissolves the government and opens Freeman up for replacement) was ordered for 2027 December 1. After the election of new Matriarch (now "Supervisor") Zelda Claret on December 2, an immediate investigation was made into what Claret believes was an assassination attempt on Freeman's life.
