The M2101, the pioneering model in the M2100 series, is engineered to fulfill a range of tactical roles including troop transport, infantry support, and armored vehicle assistance. Its adaptability and advanced features make it an essential asset in urban combat environments and versatile enough to meet diverse operational needs of the Confederate States Military.
Description
The M2101 is the inaugural model of the M2100 series, designed to serve multiple roles including troop transport, infantry support, and assistance to armored vehicles. Its versatility makes it particularly effective in urban combat scenarios. The vehicle is equipped with an advanced 360-degree automated detection system, which can engage non-friendly targets autonomously if necessary. Typically, however, the vehicle's gun and missile systems are operated by a dedicated gunner. Known for its impressive firepower, agility, and durability, the M2101 offers a cost-effective alternative to more expensive main battle tanks while delivering substantial combat capability.
The M2101's primary armament includes two HMG-23 30mm cannons, capable of delivering a high rate of fire with a total of 1600 rounds. For secondary armament, the vehicle can be fitted with one of several options on a remote weapons platform, including a 7.62mm Gatling gun, a 25mm auto cannon, a 40mm grenade launcher, or a .50 caliber machine gun. It is also equipped with four MMS (Modular Missile System) pods, providing flexibility in missile armament.
In terms of mobility, the M2101 has a maximum range of 800 km (497 miles) and can reach speeds of up to 82 km/h (50 MPH). The vehicle is designed to carry a crew of 3 along with up to 8 passengers, making it suitable for various tactical operations.
