Arvin-Karim Seriftoglu Ghazaly (/ɡəˈzɑːli/ guh-ZAH-lee; born August 23, 1999) is an Atlantian politician affiliated with the National Democratic Party. He is set to replace Avaneesh Paulino as one of the Atlantian senators representing Illinois in 2054. Previously, Ghazaly served as the Atlantian representative for Illinois's 3rd congressional district since 2049. Before entering politics, he worked worked as an Editor-in-Chief for Lampus Media and later became a restaurateur, running his own restaurant Boxenbuns.

His father is a former professor at Chicago Institute of Technology, while his mother is a former Halske manager in Washington D.C.. Born in Paterson, Ghazaly moved to Japan at the age of five. He returned to the United States and has since lived in Chicago. Ghazaly is the eldest of two children, with a younger sister, Karen Ghazaly, who worked for the USDA before the Great Divide. Ghazaly was raised as a moderate muslim and continues to practice Islam.

Ghazaly attended Oscar Alonzo High School, where he was active in the student council and world language club. He also went to Islamic prep school everyday after his regular schooling. After graduating from high school in 2017, Ghazaly enrolled at Long Island University to study East Asian studies, majoring in Korean. During his time there, he was involved in the undergraduate student government between 2018 to 020. He graduated in 2023 with a B.A. degree.

Ghazaly began his career in 2024, working for a Korean MLM company in Chicago, but resigned after three months. He then transitioned into content creation and freelancing, taking on translation and online teaching jobs. He also briefly worked as a cashier for Chicken Empire, a local fried chicken restaurant in Chicago, owned by his former co-worker, Nasser Fawaz. In 2025, Ghazaly pursued further education at the University of Hanyang while continuing his freelance career. He graduated two years later with an MA degree in Digital Media Communication.

Upon graduation, Ghazaly paused his freelancing and culinary work to become an assistant editor for Pyramid, an American entertainment website by Lampus Media, focusing on popular culture. He was later promoted to editor and eventually editor-in-chief. During his time as an editor, Ghazaly co-founded Boxenbuns along with his parents and his sister, occasionally helped funding and doing shifts in his free time.
