VC-4 Condor

The VC-4 Condor was acquired by the Confederate States Military to provide its ground forces with a heavy-lift, tandem tilt-rotor transport that can reliably get in and out of combat hotzones with adequate protection. It can ferry up to four light assault or utility vehicles in any configuration alongside cargo, or up to six light assault or utility vehicles without cargo. In addition, it can ferry twenty troops with cargo. Depending on the situation, it can act as a sky crane to lift heavier vehicles. It is commonly used in tandem with flight units of AV-30 Reaper's and V-30 Phantom's.

Description

The VC-4 Condor was manufactured by Scion Defence to fill a gap in transport capacity on the battlefield. It was designed to rectify a crucial shortcoming in the tip of the spear of many nation’s armies. The Confederate Military acquired the design shortly after extensive battlefield testing by the Republic of Sciox, impressed by its lift and cargo capacity and ability to transport quickly across warzones. The VC-4 Condor utilizes four ATH10 turbo dual-rotor shaft engines, a larger variant of the smaller ATH8's used on the AV-30 Reaper and V-30 Phantom, to assist with its heavy lift operations.
