The Gasarian Armed Forces, known by its Gasarian acronym GVS, is the national military of Gasaria. The second-largest military in the Eastern Realms, it is the seventh-largest overall. Formed in 1969 after independence, Gasaria's military is constitutionally obligated to the protection of the state and its people. The conventional armed forces of Gasaria have engaged in interstate warfare against the Federate Union during the Federate-Gasarian war and the early stages of the Solon war. The military is supported by several unofficial paramilitaries.
