Ghazaly started his professional career by working as an interpreter for a Korean MLM company in Chicago, but resigned after three months. He then transitioned into content creation and freelancing jobs, where he started making videos on Tiktok while taking on online freelance gigs. In that capacity, he also worked part-time as a cashier for Chicken Empire, a local fried chicken restaurant in Bridgeview, Illinois, owned by his former co-worker Nasser Fawaz.

Ghazaly didn't get involved in politics until late 2024 where he volunteered to campaign for Elizabeth Bishwas, which revealed to be his great distant relative (paternal first cousin twice-removed), in preparation for the 2024 United States House of Representatives elections. He then started working as a host for Vox Media's political documentaries on both Youtube and Tiktok right after receiving his masters degree in South Korea and returning to the United States in late 2027. Initially, he was assigned as the assistant staff for the content production team, but would later be promoted to host the documentary shows himself three years later. This was also the time where he started to involve more in politics, particularly by campaigning, and giving donations to independents and Forward Party politicians.

Early life and education
Arvin Sherif was born on September 27, 1999, in Paterson, New Jersey into a Turkish-Indian muslim family. His parents immigrated to the U.S. from Turkey and India in the 1980s. His father is a professor at the University of Pennsylvania who graduated from Istanbul Technical University and Arizona State University; his mother is a former manager at Siemens.

Sherif’s maternal family was from Calicut, Madras Presidency, British India (now Kozhikode, Kerala, India). In the 1960s, many of his maternal family members was part of the Indian government, most notably his great-granduncle, who was the mayor of Calicut in the 1960s. Following the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, his grandparents migrated to the United States. The tradition of working for the government didn’t stop there; as his maternal grandfather was employed by the United States Environmental Protection Agency from 1975 to 1992.

At the age of 4, he moved to Japan in fear of discrimination following the September 11 attacks. He returned to the United States in 2006 and has since lived in Philadelphia. Sherif was raised as a muslim and still practice Islam. He claims to be of a ‘moderate muslim’. He has a younger sister named Susan Sherif, currently working for the Atlantia Department of Agriculture (formerly Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

Sherif attended Wissahickon High School where he was active in the student government. He also went to Islamic prep school every day after his regular schooling. After graduating from high school in 2017, Sherif went to Temple University, later obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2022.

After graduating in 2022, he went to an IT bootcamp to try his luck in the IT industry, but ended up working as an interpreter for a Korean MLM company in South Philadelphia in late 2023, then left after just three months. In early 2024, he worked in an IT company for half a year before eventually resigned again. He was unemployed for a few months before landed a job in Google as a Korean localization staff for Gemini. In that capacity, he also had the chance to study in Hanyang University to pursue his master’s degree in 2026.

Military Service
Following the activation of Pillars which led to the Grand Invasion in July 15, 2027, all U.S. male citizens living abroad were drafted to defend against the Hazalian invasion, as ordered by Vice President Tim Walz, the Commander-in-chief of the United States armed forces at that time. Sherif was no exception.

Sherif immediately returned from South Korea to the United States to join the Army. Then received his BCT (Basic Combat Training) and AIT (Advanced Infantry Training) at Camp Roberts for was assigned to 61st Infantry Division “Grailseeker” in Arlington, Virginia. He was deployed to provide fire support in fighting Zel’amin-Hazalian forces occupying the whole block of Washington, D.C.

During his deployment, unbeknownst to Sherif, he was affected by the cosmic energy leaking out of the wormhole above the White House during an assault against Zel’amin forces guarding The Capitol. The cosmic energy, also called as “Mana”, began affecting the very base of his cells, enhanced his physical strength, speed, stamina, reflex and durability.

After just two months, his body has completely enhanced where he started to notice his anomalous growth. His fellow platoon members reported to have seen Sherif withstand an attack from Hazalian weaponries, and threw a Zel’amin member flying several feet just from mere punches and kicks. An army medic also reported that his body ‘heals fast’ where a gunshot wound in his left shoulder was healed in just an hour.

It was not until six months later during a Operation Homeland Defense, his actions under fire and heroism bought the interest of his commander. He was quickly promoted to corporal, then the commander of his division immediately brought him to the LN headquarter in New York to be recommended as a suitable candidate for the Paladin system.

LNESF Service Years
During the initial screening for the Paladin system, LN Secretary General Antonio Gutierrez reported that Sherif showed an exceptional amount of mana at the level of 7 MMR (the highest at that time) and expertise in using it, almost as if he was gifted naturally instead of being affected by the wormhole in Washington.

Political Career
Sherif didn’t involve in politics until he stepped down from the military in 2038, when he became a member of the United Future, and ran for representative office of the Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District in the 2039 Atlantian General Election. He won in the nonpartisan primary against Shirley Parvati and Viktor Magomedov but lost in the second round against Enrique Fabiano. After his defeat, he did not continue to run for office again in 2044.

Personal Life
Sherif is a Multilingualism, being able to speak six languages, including; Turkish language, Malayalam, Japanese language, Korean language, Chinese language, and English. He is also trained in martial arts, holding a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo.

Sherif is a Sunni Islam, although he never specified which Madhhab he follows, but Sherif has said he "followed what his mother taught him".

In 2033, Sherif married Chelsea Lafontaine, a senior he often worked together with when he was in the university. The couple had an Islamic marital practice in April 2034, followed by an Wedding reception two months later. They have two children, David Sherif and Martina Sherif.

Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Sherif graduated from Temple University in 2022, then worked for Google briefly. He joined the military in 2027 during the Grand Invasion where he served in the United States Army, then the LNESF 1st Gold Paladin Squad “Sirius” and was most notably known for his contribution in Operation Breakthrough. After his duty in the LNESF, he commanded the 2nd Battle Sentinel Squad “Charybdis” of the Atlantian Armed Forces during the North American Second Civil War.

Shortly after Atlantian independence, he participated in the 2039 Atlantian General Election as a representative for Pennsylvania’s 3rd Congressional District, where he won in the state primary against Green Party and People Power Party candidates Shirley Parvati and Viktor Magomedov. However, he was defeated in the second round against Enrique Fabiano of the Democratic Alliance.

On October 15, 2044, President Alem Zahran nominated Sherif to replace Nicholas Chiang as Director of D.A.R.T. He was confirmed by the Atlantian Congress on October 17, then took office on October 20. Sherif is a registered UFP member.

Early life and education

Arvin Sherif was born on September 27, 1999, in Paterson, New Jersey into a Turkish-Indian muslim family. His parents immigrated to the U.S. from Turkey and India in the 1980s. His father is a professor at the Philadelphia University who graduated from Istanbul Institute of Technology and Arizona State University; his mother is a former manager at Halske USA.

Sherif’s maternal family was from Calicut, Madras Presidency, British India (now Kozhikode, Kerala state, India). In the 1960s, many of his maternal family members was part of the Indian government, most notably his great-granduncle, who was the mayor of Calicut in the 1960s. Following the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965, his grandparents migrated to the United States. The tradition of working for the government didn’t stop there; as his maternal grandfather was employed by the EPA Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water from 1975 to 1992.

Sherif attended Blue Bell High School where he was active in the student government. He also went to Islamic prep school every day after his regular schooling. After graduating from high school in 2017, Sherif went to Temple University, later obtained a B.A. degree in 2022.

Following the activation of Pillars which led to the Grand Invasion in July 15, 2027, all U.S. male citizens living abroad were drafted to defend against the Hazalian invasion, as ordered by Vice President Timothy Walt, the Commander-in-chief of the United States armed forces at that time. Sherif was no exception.

Sherif immediately returned from South Korea to the United States to join the Army. Then received his BCT (Basic Combat Training) and AIT (Advanced Infantry Training) at Camp Roberts Military Training Site for was assigned to 61st Infantry Division “Grailseeker” in Arlington, Virginia.

Sherif is a polyglot, being able to speak six languages, including; Turkish, Malayalam, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English. He is also trained in martial arts, holding a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo.

Sherif is a Sunni Muslim, although he never specified which school he follows, but Sherif has said he "followed what his mother taught him".

In 2033, Sherif married Chelsea Lafontaine, a senior he often worked together with when he was in the university. The couple had an Islamic marriage ceremony in April 2034, followed by an outdoor wedding reception two months later. They have two children, David Sherif and Martina Sherif.
