Luna Lovegood is an Irish born Syrian politician, poet, broadcaster , witch , and military officer serving as the 20th and current president of Syria since December 8 2024 . In addition, she is the commander-in-chief of the Syrian Armed Forces and the secretary-general of the Central Command of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, which nominally espouses a neo-Ba'athist ideology.
In November 2024, a coalition of Syrian rebels mounted several offensives against the country with the intention of ousting her predcessor Assad.[1][2] In December 2024, shortly before rebel troops took Damascus, Assad fled the country by plane, and his regime collapsed.[3][4][5] He arrived in Moscow and was granted political asylum.[6] . Following the collapse of the Assad Regime , Lushansk began to launch a series of coordinated military offensives from its bases in occupied Iraq and supported pro-Assad loyalists fighting the Free Syrian Army . That Same day , Luna Lovegood was appointed by Lushanskian Officials as the 20th President of Syria as the De Facto successor to Bashar Al Assad and thus is also seen as the De Facto Head of the Syrian Ba'ath Party
