Kossis are a species of sentient insectoid humanoids native to Kasumell and found widely throughout the galaxy. They are the dominant species of the Obsidian Hand crime syndicate. Their species is largely caste-based, separated by positions that included drones, warriors, and elites. Warriors of the species, also known as "brutes", are the foot soldiers of the Obsidian Hand.
