Usnimili, officially the Usnimilian Republic (Olcabrian: República Usnimila), is a country located in central-western Elia Australis. It borders the Alconian Ocean to its west, Terrafirma towards its northwest, Coshaqua to its south, and shares the Elian Rift with Nadauro, Paiuta, X, and Y. Its capital city is Rosamonte, located in the east of the country, although San Silvestre closer to the Rift is its biggest-populated city. Usnimia possesses a population of over 55 million, alongside a total area of X square kilometers, making it the Nth-most populous country in the world, as well as the Nth-largest country in the Eastern Hemisphere, and the Mth-largest in the world. Usnimili is a federal state divided into {a number of} provinces. The predominant and official language is Olcabrian, but indigenous languages have recently started to gain more recognition, especially in the east where !Hopi and !Karuk have been made official languages in the provinces of X and Y respectively.

Evidence of human presence in the modern-day territory goes back to the X era, as far back as 7.000 years ago. East Usnimili would be later the hub of many cultures, with the !Hopi being the most powerful in the region, which included the !Arapaho, !Keres, and a number of !Navajo communities, while the !Tehuelches occupied the western coast. After the Catabolic Crisis left many of these peoples weakened, the Huecean Empire conquered the north. However, from the 16th century onwards Olcabrian explorers discovered and colonised the region, wiping out a majority of the indigenous peoples present before. The then-Viceroyalty of Usnimia's main export quickly became a large diversity of agricultural products, most of it coming from the very-highly-fertile San Cayetano Plains in the west and centre.

Mounting domestic pressure erupted with the outbreak of the Usnimilian Independence Wars, when the people sought to take advantage of the Hyacinthean and Terrafirman revolutions happening mostly at the same time. A decade of infighting between each of the provincial elites preceded the signing of a Constitution in 1807, establishing the country as a federal state and a semi-presidential republic. From there on the country enjoyed relative peace and stability. Starting in mid-19th century, Usnimili set its sights on expanding towards the Elian Rift alongside steady industrialisation. The (19th-century Valley War) saw the country be defeated and lose many of the Valley territories it claimed further west. Usnimili fought the Transmedan War on the side of the Sydenham Powers, as the Mancinas military government seeked to reconquer the lost territories. The post-war years would feature political violence pitting the government, and far-left, and far-right guerrillas. Under another junta following the 1980 coup, Usnimili would enter the Rift Wars looking to yet again take the former Rift lands, an objective in which they failed, culminating in the Maundy Thursday Revolution.
