The 77th World Hit Festival will be held on the 22nd December 2024. It was held in the Maregrad Arena in Rugenia's capital city Maregrad, following the country's victory in the previous contest held in Scotatrova. The contest will consist of a single live show, held on 22nd December and presented by Lena Kuskavka and Johannes, a former WorldVision Song Contest winner. The 77th World Hit Festival marks the start of the eighth World Hit Festival Overseer Era, with Claudia Anne-Davies from Britonisea becoming the new Overseer.

Production
The World Hit Festival 77 in Maregrad was produced by the national broadcaster RTV1, which appointed two executive producers for the event: Carla Winterberg and Ole Svernov. Carla is co-responsible for culture and music (together with Maxim Goran), while Ole is a producer for several TV formats at RTV1 and other channels in Rugenia, including the show "The Voice of Rugenia". Both have over 15 years of experience in producing a wide range of TV formats.
Under the direction of Executive Supervisor Claudia Anne-Davies, the World Hit Festival was produced and broadcast almost flawlessly.
