The Highkingdom of Suavia (Næbeç: Nemnaoù̃svàbr î Subrmaoù, pronounced [nɛmnɔ̃svabʁ i sibʁmɔ]), commonly known as Suavia or the Suavian Realms is a sovereign country occupying two penisulas adcensant to the Njordic and Tynic Seas with greater territories in central Aldinea. It has land borders with East Engatia, Flarmen, Orlav, Urthsokh and Overseas borders with Valmark, East Engatia, and Valden. It is also the historical protector of the Protectorate of Hassau and shares a roll with Ambrose in occupying East Engatia. It possesses some of the largest coastlines in Aldinea, being behind only Sjealand and is physically one of the largest nations on the continent.
Suavia is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary democracy, however, it is often argued to be a modern example of Mixed government, possessing strong illiberal democracy. Political Power has largely been held by the Parliaments The Cenî & The Monu resulting in a sexacameral parliamentary system composed of the Estate of Lords, the Estate of Commons, the Estate of the Armed, the Estate of Church, the Estate of Guilds, and the Estate of the State. Executive power is invested in the Highking, who is presently Nubthàm IX, who through Royal prerogative is given extensive powers by the Uncodified Constitution of Suavia. He alone appoints and dismisses the Nem Vith (lit. Great Leader) - so in practice the emperor can hypothetically rule the realm through the Nem Vith), was supreme commander-in-chief of the armed forces, and final arbiter of all foreign affairs, and could also disband the Parliaments to call for new elections. The Nem Vith serves as a Constitutional Dictator with nearly unlimited powers but still accountable to parliament, the Gbsæs and the monarch. The Ephor are invested with the legal power to "protect the rights and liberties of all subjects of the Highkingdom", being the elite of Suavian political society and only beneath the Highking. In practice, the Cenî and The Monu make recommendations which have been generally approved albeit there have been noticeable exceptions in recent history. The Parliaments of Suavia has been Dominant party by the Laoumaoukibl (lit. New Realm), since the restructuring of the parliaments in 1910 after defeat at the hands of The Engatian Marshalate.
[History section, refer to the predecessor Tynic Sea civilisation, the division of the Kingdom of the Suaves, the petty kingdoms, formation of the Grand Principality, the arrival of Atruneanism, the Engatian-Suavian union, the formation of the High Kingdom of Suavia after wars of unification, the wars against Orlav and Urthsokh, Franco-Prussian War tier conflict in 1905, Thrall trade involvement, formation of the Laoumaoukibl, Suavian civil war, present geopolitical role]
[Franco-Japanese style economy, lots of debt not helped by the war, abysmal TFR, reliant upon immigration + Aldinean Coprosperity Union]
[Geography: largely hilly promoting regionalism with a few mountain ranges forcing incursions certain directions]
Etymology and pronunciation
The origins of the name Suavia, lies in the name of the first leader of the Suavians, King Nebgâmouuou Subrmaoù using Black-Sun as stylised by his banner which he took to using. Applied to the whole of the Suavian conquest territories, the name Suavia comes from the Næbeç Subrmaoù, or "Sons of Subrmaoù's". Modern Suavia is still using Subrmaoù, and its present name has its origins in an Ambrosian exonym.

Literature
[lets just steal the themes of Russian lit as that is solid and leave French lit to someone who likes it]
Music
[oddly Maouri sounding in antiquity/dark ages to Austrian styles of classical music. Very large underground scene due to legal prohibitions on certain genres].

All aristocracy given stipends and compensation for property acquired and are moved to the capital for the Court, some holding onto estate revenues but most moving to Naẽî Maoù as court nobles in the new bouvailliner inspired system]

Great War of the North

[will research more soon, Suavia probably doing well overall, maybe gaining sound tier rights over the Tynic]

Industrialisation

Engatian-Suavian War

[Franco=Prussian War but worse for Suavia, causing the rise of the Laoumaoukibl, with a renamed of Edgar Edwin Kingharth using his connections to the nobility and crown (having personally tutored the Crown Prince) to enter government and eventually form the Laoumaoukibl. He addresses may social concerns and is seen as the father of the nation. Also the birth of democractic elements again after several centuries of Absolute rule.]

The Great Discord

[Suavian civil war caused by the massive recession and workers action in the 1940s, leading to Russia tier civil war which ends up being exploited by the Engatian empire latter]

Continental War

[Imperial Engatia invades again, objectively on the side of the Republicans and puts down several warlords on their way, forcing the Laoumaoukibl's forces to hold onto several cities in a nigh impossible siege refusing to surrender until Ambrosian aid allows a major pushback, with Suavian troops extracting vengeance for Engatian forced famine and colonisaiton]

Post-War

[demographics fucked but pulls a Japan economically, being a major economic force and a strong advocate for Ambrose]

Politics

Monarchy

[Still elective, controlled by the House Bîbâvaneu, with the current monarch - Nubthàm IX - being a usurper to prevent the previous monarch from enabling a shift towards Sjealand. Still elective more or less and thus has shifted to other families.]

Governance

[Cluster fuck as described in openning paragraph. Conflicting neobyzantine absolute monarchy (built on Kievan rus/French elective roots), Laoumaoukibl, clergy, nobility and bureaucracy]

Administrative divisions

[county system now with exceptions made for cities, historic duchies, still formal divide between the grand principality's old lands the rest of the highkingdom]

Foreign relations

[Part of Ambrose's pact, bad with those of Sjealand, neutral on Gallideen, very anti-Japonic]

Military and intelligence

[essentially French, will talk to noodles about the details, no nuclear arsenal]

Geography

[Generally rugged due to small mountains dividing the country, lots of large valleys]

Climate

[Probably same as France/Englands in terms of Koppen climate]

Fauna and flora

[European lions will be a thing]

Economy

[distrubutism meets Japan more or less]

Agriculture

[Very strong in Suavia, farmers tending to have higher than average farm sizes due to the consequences of the Continental War]

Resources

[Same as France/England more or less, lots of coal, rare earth elements, a major gold mine somewhere]

Industry

[Largely controlled by guild/Keiretsus which largely benefit from the ACU's interconnected economy - noticeable promotion of quasi-artisanal local businesses as well, limit industry modernisation in some respects. Vital industries under de facto government control thanks to sovereign wealth fund control.]

Commerce and technology

[Highly regulated but sponsored and state controlled]

Tourism

[fairly developed industry, on the rise thanks to classical cities]

Infrastructure

[Extremely extensive train system, arguably stronger than the car system and is increasingly leaning towards such a system in the long term]

Media

[Largely under strict state regulation but otherwise independent]

Demographics

Ethnicity

[Suavians and their subgroups (Grand principality vs the "Orientals"), Engatians (Old colonial families vs newer immigrants from East Engatia), plus eastern minorities

Religion

[Localised Atrunean sect is mandated by the state and is integral, providing a basis in natural law for the social conduct of the Suavian state, serving a major constitutional role and a social one. Think very catholic social norms. Inquisition also in effect but also a state organ. Subrmanu became the Guardian God, being the patron of civilisation and order.]

Language

[Naebec + its related families are officially sanctioned, with Tynic and Engatian in addition to them. The rest are suppressed.]

Education

[private schools are well established, general education very pre-Wilson Britain/Singapore, with classics being taught rigorously. Strong state sponsorship of universities and Chantry universities]

Healthcare

[not!NHS]

Culture

Architecture

[Russian + Baroque with some Gondorian influences here and there]

Art

[Very European not much else. Vorticism maybe being popular for a bit?]

Cuisine

[National divide between French and Italian dishes to combine into the ultimate elitist food. Very strong cusine culture.]

Holidays

[no clue other than kings birthdays, battle anniversies and major feast days]

Literature

[lets just steal the themes of Russian lit as that is solid and leave French lit to someone who likes it]

Music

[oddly Maouri sounding in antiquity/dark ages to Austrian styles of classical music. Very large underground scene due to legal prohibitions on certain genres].

Theater and cinema

[Suprisingly unregulated]

Sports

[Extreme football and Rugby fans (albeit regional/class divides a factor here)]
