The Belfrasian Kingdom enjoys healthy relations with a majority of nations.

History

Belfrasian foreign relations since 1540 have focuse don achieving a balance of power, with no country controlling the continent of Lusankya. The chief enemy, from the XX until XX was Rodarion, a larger country that focuses on religious supremacy rather than political might. The Belfrasians were generally successful colonists and were successful in their many wars, with the most notable exceptions being the colonial rebellions of Western Confederation in 1755, and Virana in XXXX. The Belfrasian Empire ruled almost a quarter of Pardes during it's height in XXXX, but began shrinking until Hardenburgh, Belfras' eastern-most holding, achieved independence in the 1910's. Following the 1910's independence of Hardenburgh, Belfras began developing friendly relations with it's former holdings.

Recent history

After 1950 Belfras systematically reduced its overseas commitments. Practically all national trading posts in other countries were absorbed into their host nation. Under King Benjamin XV, the Belfrasian Empire continued in name until his death in 1964, triggering the accension of King James I, who's early years saw the final demise of the Empire with the humiliating Kunarii Uprising of the 1970's. The founding of the Victorian Accords provided Belfras with a much needed relief both economically and militarily whilst they rebuilt their forces from the bloody insurrection.

The Coalition has traditionally been aligned with Belfrasian interests and that of the Victorian Accord. It has, however, strengthened its relationship with Belfras in the early 2010's with the marriage of Duchess Elizabeth Wall'en and Archon Jacob XX, solidifying their place as a staunch Belfrasian ally.

Hardenburgh	Good	See Belfrasian-Hardenburghian relations. Belfras and Hardenburgh enjoy cooperative and intimate contact; the two countries are related through history, the Belfrasian Commonwealth, and their sharing of the same Head of State and monarch. After Hardenbrughian independence in the 1910's Belfras has maintained several military bases and a tight cultural bond with Hardenburgh. Despite this shared history, the two countries have grown apart economically. The Kingdom was Hardenburgh's largest trade partner up until independence, but is now well down the list.
