Santizo entered the [[Imperial Army of Temuair]] at the age of 21 after completing her degree in business administration at Mileth Central University. While in college she participated in the Imperial Army Officers Preparatory Program (IAOPP) and, upon graduation, was commissioned as a Tenente and  assigned to 2nd platoon, 2/11 Battalion, [[11th Imperial Dragón Brigade]]. During her 12-week OCS course, she qualified as an expert marksmen with both handgun and service rifle.

In mid-2007, Burgess [[Nataniel Godoy]] approached Santizo and asked her to consider serving as his Vice Burgess if he won the 2008 Burgess Electoral Race for the Mileth Division. Godoy had been her commanding officer during her time with the 3/3 Battalion, [[Alpinoes|2nd Alpino Brigade]], and was the officer who initiated her {{wpl|Brevet (military)|brevet}} to Comandante during <the war>.  She agreed to serve if he won. Godoy's victory was confirmed on February 10, 2008, and both he and Santizo assumed office April 1, 2008. Both were reelected in 2012.
Godoy advised Santizo he would not be seeking reelection in 2016 and urged her to run in his place. She agreed, and was elected as the Burgess of Mileth in the 2016 Burgess Electoral Race. She choose Eligio Canton as her Vice Burgess.
