Background

Based on the Hammar class tracklayers so is the mammoth artillery tracklayer a much lighter artillery piece that is outfitted with a heavier artillery cannon to provide mobile artillery support to moving formations. Either in small scale engagements where the artillery acts in support at it's own or on much larger battle s where the piece is deployed in larger formations to provide artillery strikes en mass. It was developed first after the hammar class had been put into the field and spent three years being developed by Kopparbergs automobil företag after their official development of the original tracklayer. As the time advanced were the artillery piece further outfitted with better electronic systems to allow for better aiming and communication by the crew. This means that original models are also sadly enough roomier than the later ones employed by the guard making some describe them as uncomfortably small.

Main cannon

The main cannon is a large 200 mm rifled artillery cannon that officially is known as 140 pundare artellerikannon or (140 pounder artillery cannon) with a autoloader that allows the artilery piece to keep a magazine of 14 shells that can keep up a rate of fire by 14 shells during 7 minutes and after which the artillery piece requires an additional 3 minutes break to reload.

Armour

Compared to it's very heavily armoured hammar class tracklayer that the Mammoth is based on so have the armour been heavily reduced and made lighter to allow the tracklayer greater speed and greater range. As such does it only have a relatively thin 40 mm thick armour sandwitched between steel and ceramic various ingrediens similarly to how the hammar class is outfitted.

Electronics devices

with the same tea boiler and fridge as the Hammar class has so is it also equipped with greater electronic maps systems, communication as well as electronic aiming systems to aid the gunners to aim the cannon.
