The LT95125 is a Tarsan light tank developed in 1995 to provide an airlift capable vehicle able to provide heavy armor support for paratroopers. Additional roles included support of MBT divisions in urban and congested environments. The vehicle possesses a shortened version of the gun aboard the T13125 Atlos. It is based on the Type 65 General Use Chassis. The tank possesses a light version of the Fortress Active Protection System and a full tungsten and composite armor. Mounts for non-explosive reactive armor or explosive reactive armor were applied.
Variants
- LT95125-M1 - Initial production variant introduced in 1995.
- LT95125-MS - Modernized variant introduced in 2010 with new, more advanced processing and additional armor. Upgrades will be applied to the majority of vehicles in service.
