Samuel Seabury was born on Novemeber 30, 1729 and died on February 25, 1796 and he was the first American Episcopal bishop, the second Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America, and the first Bishop of Connecticut. He was a leading Loyalist in New York City during the American Revolution and a known rival of Alexander Hamilton. When Seabury was younger he gre up with a girl named [[Orabelle Barnes]]. They wre best friends untils she left Britian in 1760 to travel. He had continued on with his life missing her.
