The Sealgairí consist of several formations of light infantry in service with the Aisling Army, and are considered part of the nation's special forces. These battalions are equipped to undertake a series of specialized missions, including direct action, airfield seizure, airborne and air assaults, reconnaissance, and personnel recovery.
